Dear Jhoots: We Need Our Pharmacies!

Pharmacies in Barnstaple, Braunton and Combe Martin have suffered a number of unexpected closures, staffing issues and supply-chain shortfalls, leaving North Devon patients travelling further afield for access to routine medicines.

Ian Roome MP has written to Jhoots Pharmacy CEO Manjit Jhooty, and is calling on the senior management of Jhoots Pharmacies to address these service problems, and confirm the future of pharmacy cover in North Devon communities. Back our campaign today!

Pharmacies are essential to fulfil routine and specialist prescriptions, act as a reserve of vital medications, supply everyday health items, provide expert medical advice and confidential guidance, support local GP surgeries, and help offset pressure on the NHS.
