My name is Jayne Mackie, and I'm standing to represent Fremington & Yelland in the upcoming byelection, following the sad passing of Cllr. Neil Denton.

I have lived in Yelland for many years, working in Primary & Secondary Schools, and now a local nursery. As a former Councillor for Fremington, I stepped down in 2023 to care for an elderly family member - but I want to return to do my bit for our community.

I enjoy Tai Chi, Pilates, tending our allotment, and caring for our Bee Hives!

Polls are open from 7am-10pm on Thursday 2nd April 2026, and I need your support.
