Kirsten Johnson, Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for North Devon, visited the Winter Wonderland in South Molton, which included a range of stalls in the Assembly Rooms and in the Pannier Market. She listened to the Children's Choir from West Buckland Prep School and enjoyed the fairground attractions in the square.
Kirsten also attended the superb Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary Magdalene Church.
"I was impressed by the creativity on display. There were over 120 trees, some decorated in a more traditional way, others using windscreen wipers and hoses to make a tree shape. I loved seeing families enjoying the trees together - the event brought together young and old, and had a real community feel to it. The West Buckland Prep School Choir was simply wonderful – beautiful singing and lots of happy faces"
Kirsten also visited the Crib Festival at South Molton Methodist Church, which had over 50 nativity sets from around the world on display.
